The following pix came from an email I received from my sister and I would just like to share it with you guys. With the current typhoon we have where it wreck havoc in most of Metro Manila, it's good to have a good laugh once in a while.
To the readers who are not from this country, please note that Philippines is the third largest speaking nation in the world (as we claim)...but...well...ahhhh...ummmmm...the photos will speak for themselves.

BTW, something is missing in the second paragraph? "...Philippines is the third largest speaking nation..." hehe... blame it on the storm brewing outside.
Nakakatawa naman iyan. Pero hindi lang Pilipino ang nagkakamali sa Ingles. Kahit native English speakers, nagkakamali rin.
I saw an ad in the paper once, which went like this:
Buffet, All You Can Eat:
Beef: $ 8.25
Chicken: $ 7.50
Children: $4.00
But all the messages clearly communicated. That's the idea of language. I prefer sign language, no spellings booboo, nor grammar and all those silly little nuisances written and spoken can wreck.
Anyway the flood just inches to the main floor of my little house in Brookside Hill. Called today, and was told just reached the terrace, and another few hours could have been a swimming pool indoor. Water going down now. Next time I’m home, I’ll pile bags and bags of sand or maybe have them do now, nah, they’ll spend it on something else.
Funny!
On the subway in Boston I saw a poster advertising English lessons for non-native speakers. The poster had a misspelled word!
WOW...ok, how bad is it, that I wanna go over there, point and laugh?! Man, I'm evil. And the worst of it is, I've actually seen signs like that posted around swap meets, here in town, and I've questioned the owners what was printed up to the point where they get so fustrated its...never mind. I'm not exactly shining in the best of lights, am I? LOL...thanks for the laughs, though!

It's hillarious as hell. I enjoyed the reading those rules to be follows. I would be scared to go to that cottage. Just seems like I would be breaking a lot of rules. Knowing me, I would like to roam around and make friends to other people in different cottages haha. I might end up paying for all the cottages I visit.
