A Little Patch of Green in Makati
Washington Sycip Park
"In the nearly six decaded that I have been advisor to companies operating in both the developed and developing countries, I can say with confidence that westernstyle democracy may not be a workable proposition in the absence of a developed westernstyle economy! For most of us who have lived all our lives in a developing economy, it is easy to understand why. But for those who have spent their entire lives in a developed nation, it is difficult to understand why not."

it's been a while since your last post, jef. I hope you're doing fine.
Hi. nice photos. And nice "quote' (was that a quote?). Anyway, sometimes, i get to appreciate western commercialism (the essence of democracy??? lol!) when my family eats italian dishes (yay!) more-than-we-can at fastfoods for about $25, and munch on Goya dark chocolate for a quarter $. And experience the world for $20 (via Smartbro).
But more than a decade ago, a friend and I thought the US' only legacy to the world is the Levi's 501 jeans... perspectives change. maybe, it's wisdom, or the dusk...
well, just sharing.
looked relaxing!
merry christmas bro!
blessings Jef. I trust all is well.
